Sutures is a surprise single by American groove/thrash metal band Machine Head (Oakland, California), released October 20, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records — the band's first new music since the UNATØNED (2025) album, arriving as frontman Robb Flynn publicly closed the UNATØNED album cycle.
The standalone release closes the book on the band's UNATØNED era while the quartet turns toward its next chapter. For background on the band's metal peers, read our Iron Maiden biography and Staind biography.
