Weapons is Zach Cregger's 2025 horror phenomenon and his second feature as sole writer-director, following Barbarian (2022). The film grips viewers with its central mystery: all but one child from the same class vanish on the same night, at exactly 2:17 a.m. — leaving parents, teachers and a small town hunting for answers that only get darker.
With its eerie 2:17 a.m. motif and slow-burn dread, Weapons has become the Halloween-week rewatch pick, and it is streaming now on Max (streaming began October 24, 2025).
