The Announcement
According to reports, the comeback news broke first on September 27, 2026, when the members played a surprise comeback spoiler video during a Weverse livestream. The clip carried the line "we need something different from what we've done so far" — or, in a later retelling, "we need something different than before" — sending fans into overdrive ahead of the official reveal.
Big Hit Music made it official the next day, September 28, 2026, announcing that TXT's ninth mini album 'PERFECT STORM' would arrive on November 16, 2026 with six tracks. Spotify pre-save opened the same day at 1 PM KST, and further album details are rolling out via Weverse.
From 'Wind' to 'Storm': The Story So Far
'PERFECT STORM' marks TXT's first release in about seven months, following the April 13, 2026 arrival of their eighth mini album '7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns'. That record — which had the members acting as narrators of their own story — climbed to No. 3 on the US Billboard 200 and swept five Korean music-show wins, according to reports.
The new album pushes the previous record's 'wind' imagery into far more powerful territory: the storm. After years of themes built around gentle breezes and drifting skies, TOMORROW X TOGETHER are embracing the full force of the tempest.
'Steal the Wind' World Tour
The comeback is timed to crash straight into the group's fifth world tour, TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR <STEAL THE WIND>. The three-night Seoul opening run takes place November 13–15, 2026 at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu — with the album dropping the very next day, November 16.
The tour title carries the meaning "make the flow your own", and the journey continues far beyond Korea: Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Mexico, Hong Kong, the United States and Europe, running through June 2027. TXT are also set to join the 2026 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour lineup in December.
