SHARI BELAFONTE CALLS JENNIFER ANISTON AND REESE WITHERSPOON "THE SWEETEST PEOPLE ON THE PLANET" AS THE MORNING SHOW WRAPS FINAL SEASON

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon have been showered with praise by their co-star Shari Belafonte, as production wrapped the fifth and final season of The Morning Show, the hit Apple TV drama about the high-stakes world of morning television.

Belafonte — who plays Julia, a crew member on the fictional morning show — opened up about her time on set while speaking at the Sept 27, 2026 Rape Treatment Center & Stuart House Annual Brunch, where she told PEOPLE she had nothing but love for the series' two leading ladies.

What Shari Belafonte Said

"We had a lot of stars, but Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon were really the sweetest people on the planet," Belafonte told PEOPLE at the Sept 27, 2026 brunch.

She added, "They were terrific ... They took care of our cast and our crew," crediting Aniston and Witherspoon — aged 57 and 50 respectively, per PEOPLE — with looking after everyone who worked on the show.

The 72-year-old actress made it clear that, for all the star power on set, the two leads stood out most for their kindness behind the scenes.
