Flying Blind is the fifth studio album from Slash with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, and the band's first collection of all-new music since 2022's 4 — 2024's Orgy of the Damned was a set of blues covers. The new record was cut largely live in about a week at Studio Barbarosa in Florida.
The lineup features Slash on guitar and pedal steel, Myles Kennedy on vocals, Todd Kerns on bass, Brent Fitz on drums and Frank Sidoris on rhythm guitar. The stop-motion puppet music video for the title-track single was shot at The Viper Room in Los Angeles and directed by John Harvatine IV.
Talking about the album, Slash said: It's a really fun, kind of spontaneous rock 'n' roll record. It's very straightforward and down-to-earth and raw.
