Career Highlights

Coldplay's breakthrough came with their debut album Parachutes (July 2000) and its soaring single "Yellow". A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002) followed, powered by the Grammy-winning "Clocks" and "The Scientist". The band went on to release X&Y (2005) and Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008), whose title track became their first US No.1 single. Later records — Mylo Xyloto (2011), Ghost Stories (2014), A Head Full of Dreams (2015), Everyday Life (2019), Music of the Spheres (2021) and Moon Music (2024) — kept them at the top of the global stage. Across their career they have won seven Grammy Awards, nine Brit Awards and seven MTV Video Music Awards, and sold more than 100 million records worldwide. They headlined Glastonbury in 2024 and played Wembley Stadium in August 2025.
