My Whole World Lyrics

Twenty-nine days 'til our ship comes in
We'll be together again
They say, "Bubba, how you've been?
How's your mom and them?"
We'll go throw the ball around
Try not to let it hit the ground
While the kids make a beautiful sound
Cut loose, away they bound
As the wind blows, there goes
My whole world
Like a ray of sunshine
I'm grateful today for
My whole world
That sweet peace of mind
Underneath the pin oak tree
Pass family recipes
They'll bring you to your knees
Make room for seconds, please
All the peanut butter pie
We talk about how time flies
And how all the good ones die
And all those tears we cry
As the wind blows, there goes
My whole world
Like a ray of sunshine
I'm grateful today for
My whole world
That sweet peace of mind
Twenty-nine days 'til our ship comes in
We'll be together again
They'll say, "Bubba, how you've been?
How's your mom and them?"
We'll go throw the ball around
Try not to let it hit the ground
While the babies make a beautiful sound
Cut loose, away they bound
As the wind blows, there goes
My whole world
Like a ray of sunshine
I'm grateful today for
My whole world
That sweet peace of mind
I'm grateful, he's there for
My whole world
