Early Life

Sara was born Sara Sultan on 12 August 1995 in Bombay, Maharashtra, into the distinguished Pataudi family. She is the daughter of actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, and the granddaughter of cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore. She moved to the United States for her higher studies and graduated from Columbia University, New York, with a degree in history and political science before returning to India to pursue acting.

Career

Sara made her acting debut in 2018 with the romantic drama Kedarnath, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. Her performance earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
