Parineeti Chopra was born on October 22, 1988, in Ambala, Haryana, into a Punjabi Hindu family. She studied at the Convent of Jesus and Mary and later earned a triple honours degree in business, finance and economics from Manchester Business School.
Career
Parineeti made her acting debut with Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2011), winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Her breakthrough arrived with Ishaqzaade (2012), which earned her the National Film Award – Special Mention. She followed it with a strong 2013–2014 run, including Shuddh Desi Romance and Hasee Toh Phasee. Her later films include Golmaal Again (2017), Kesari (2019), Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar (2021) and Uunchai (2022).
