The Song's Second Life
The song's second life began in 2025, when a fan clip from the Amsterdam stop of Zara Larsson's Midnight Sun Tour went viral, sending the decade-old single surging back up the charts. The tour's title song is covered in our Midnight Sun lyrics post.
The momentum carried into 2026: "Lush Life" returned to number one in Sweden for two weeks in January 2026, climbed back to number three on the UK Singles Chart in March 2026 — matching its original peak — reached number eight on the Billboard Global 200, and set a new US Billboard Hot 100 peak of number 35 in April 2026.
The revival also earned the song a Social Song of the Year nomination at the 2026 American Music Awards, and it has since passed one billion streams on Spotify. New to her story? Read our Zara Larsson biography, and keep exploring with Stateside lyrics, her collaboration with PinkPantheress.
