The Nominations So Far
Aya Nakamura and David Guetta top the list with three nominations each, making them the most-nominated artists of the 2026 ceremony.
Right behind them, the two-nomination pack is crowded: Angèle, Theodora, Eva, Disiz, Gims, Tayc, Anyme, Bigflo & Oli, Orelsan, Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Shakira, Djo and Naïka each picked up two nods.
In the international categories, Artiste féminine internationale features Ariana Grande, Bebe Rexha, Karol G, Katseye, Olivia Rodrigo, Raye, Shakira and Taylor Swift; Artiste masculin international lists Alex Warren, Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars, BTS, Harry Styles, Muse and Teddy Swims; and the Hit international category pits Bad Bunny's "Nuevayol" against Bruno Mars's "I Just Might", Djo's "The End of Beginning", Miley Cyrus's "Dream As One", Naïka's "One Track Mind" and Taylor Swift's "The Fate of Ophelia".
Chanson Francophone de l'Année: The Early-Vote Seven
For the first time ever, the seven nominees for Chanson francophone de l'année were revealed between October 1 and 3, 2026, and the category has been opened to the public vote early — normally it is a ceremony-night-only vote.
The seven nominees: Adèle Castillon's "Été avec toi", Charlotte Cardin's "Tant pis pour elle", Disiz & Theodora's "Melodrama", Eva's "Sur la piste", Mauvais Djo's "Pilé", Oria's "Soirée mondaine" and Tayc & Anyme's "Réanymé".
First Confirmed Artists for Cannes
Among the first names confirmed for the October 23 ceremony are Adèle Castillon, Angèle, Bigflo & Oli, Charlotte Cardin, Eva, Jamie Miller & Antonio Cipriano, Marine, Miki, Mosimann, Naïka, Orelsan and Tayc.
These are only the first confirmed names — not the full lineup. Note that while Taylor Swift is nominated, she is not confirmed as attending, and no announcement places her in Cannes.
Background
The NRJ Music Awards, now in their 28th edition, are France's only major public-voted music ceremony. The 2026 nominations were announced on September 16, 2026 — but the fresh hook is the early-October reveal of the Chanson francophone de l'année nominees, a break from the tradition of announcing them and voting live on ceremony night.
No official NRJ or TF1 video covering the nominations exists yet — the ceremony airs live on TF1 on October 23.
