Memphis R&B star K. Michelle is trading heartbreak ballads for honky-tonk storytelling. Her seventh studio album, Jesus & Whiskey, arrived on October 16, 2026 via BBR Music Group / Real Outlawz Records, marking her full pivot into country music.
Produced by Kristian Bush of Sugarland, the record leans into themes of faith, heartbreak and redemption, carried by a session band steeped in steel guitar, dobro, banjo and Hammond B3. It is her first full-length country album, following five consecutive R&B albums that charted on Billboard, beginning with her gold-certified 2013 debut Rebellious Soul.
