Three composers, three moods

Ravi Basrur drives the darker, more intense lane with "Vingansa", Rochak Kohli works the softer family register on "Muskura Do", and KARMA brings a confrontational energy to "Game Over". "We wanted the album to reflect the film rather than make every song sound the same... Each composer brought a different sensibility to the film," director Abhishek Pathak said, according to nationpress. The film's background score is by Amar Mohile.

What they said

Ajay Devgn has spoken fondly about the franchise's sound. "The music of Drishyam has always been a character in itself," he said via bollyspice, adding about Sunidhi Chauhan's rendition: "It's easily one of my favourite Sunidhi Chauhan renditions of all time. Some songs are sung; this one feels unleashed."

According to lyricist Aamil Keeyan Khan, "Vingansa" is a Goan word derived from the Portuguese for "revenge"/"vengeance" — a fitting title for the album's lead single.
