Born Olivia Lauryn Dean on 14 March 1999 in Haringey, London, she was raised in Walthamstow by an English father and a Jamaican-Guyanese mother. Her graduation performance caught the eye of a manager and led to an audition with Rudimental, for whom she went on to sing backing vocals.
