The band first aired the song during the encore of their headline show at Baluarte de la Candelaria in Cadiz, Spain, on 8 August 2026. It then received its US debut at Shaky Knees in Atlanta on 19 September 2026, just weeks before the album's release.
Critics have described a darker, more electronic direction for the new material: spacey synths, a driving rhythm section and a reverb-drenched vocal from Grian Chatten. NME awarded the album five stars, praising its dystopian, danceable energy.
