Muse is John Legend's 11th studio album, arriving October 23, 2026 through Republic Records. It follows My Favorite Dream (2024) and LEGEND (2022), and it marks the first time Legend and Pharrell Williams have made a full album together — a partnership more than 20 years in the making.

Pharrell produced and co-wrote the entire record and served as its executive producer. The album was written and recorded starting in January 2025 at Pharrell's studio inside the Louis Vuitton headquarters in Paris. The spark came when Legend sang on "The Birds Don't Sing," the Pharrell-produced Clipse track from Let God Sort 'Em Out — that session opened the door to a complete project. Announced on September 8, 2026, the album draws on Nina Simone, Nat King Cole and Marvin Gaye, wrapped in what Legend calls a "Black James Bond aesthetic": classic and cinematic, but riding a modern backbeat across gospel, standards, doo-wop, classic soul, Afrobeat and hip-hop.

"Pray For Ya" was previewed during Louis Vuitton's Fall-Winter 2026 show in January 2026. Pharrell lends his vocals to six tracks on the album, while Clipse — Pusha T and Malice — appear on "Bodies On The Floor," the album's only other guest feature. Lead single "Daylight" was previewed live on CBS's America's Tailgate on September 7, 2026 ahead of its September 2026 release, and "Fireflies" (feat. Pharrell Williams) arrived with a cinematic video directed by Paul Hunter.
