American singer-songwriter Amira Elfeky has announced her debut studio album, It Was Only a Dream, set for release on November 13, 2026. The record will arrive via Anemoia Records / Atlantic Records and follows her 2025 EP "Surrender," marking her first full-length project.
The announcement also revealed the album's full 12-song tracklist. Two singles have been released from the project so far: "Breakdown," which arrived on September 30, 2026, and "I Don't Want to Fall in Love," which followed on October 28, 2026 — and anticipation for the complete record is already building.

About the Album
Elfeky has framed the record around the meeting of fantasy and reality, describing it in her Instagram announcement as a place "where dream Amira and reality Amira collide as one," as covered by Revolver. The concept positions the album as a personal statement about identity and escape — fitting material for a debut full-length.
The rollout began with "Breakdown," which Elfeky has called "chapter 1 in the trilogy." She explained to Rock Sound that the song is about wanting to change while feeling too exhausted to take the first step — a theme that sets the tone for the album. The track was produced by Harry James Gilmour, who returns as a collaborator on the record alongside Zakk Cervini and John Feldman. Elfeky is also currently on the road across Europe as support for I Prevail, according to Rock Sound's October 2026 coverage.
For collectors, Revolver is selling a limited "Bruised" vinyl edition of the album, capped at 500 copies and bundled with a 20-page collector's zine, per Revolver.
