F1 (2025) — RELEASE DATE, CAST, TRAILER & SOUNDTRACK

Apple Original Films' high-octane racing drama F1, directed by Joseph Kosinski, stars Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a washed-out former Formula 1 driver drawn back to the grid to mentor a fearless rookie teammate. Filmed at real Grand Prix weekends with genuine F1 machinery and paddock access, the movie puts viewers right inside the cockpit of the world's fastest sport.

Beyond the on-track spectacle, F1 arrived with one of the biggest soundtrack campaigns of 2025: an original score by Hans Zimmer alongside F1 The Album, a 17-track Atlantic Records companion record stacked with global stars. For more on the leading man, see our Brad Pitt biography.
