Death From Above 1979 push their fall 2026 North American tour to early 2027 — the tour was booked as an album tour before the album even existed. The Toronto dance-punk duo are finishing their new album Private Lives instead, and have announced 30 new dates for February–March 2027.

The Tour Postponement
The original itinerary ran from October 1, 2026 at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento through December 6, 2026 in Pittsburgh. On September 22, 2026, the duo announced via social media that the run would be postponed.
The rescheduled 30-date "Private Lives Tour" opens February 2, 2027 at The Marquee in Tempe, Arizona, and closes March 31, 2027 at The Crocodile in Seattle, Washington. The new routing keeps every Canadian city from the original plan and adds four more: Waterloo, Ottawa, Red Deer and Victoria.
Sebastien Grainger (vocals/drums) and Jesse F. Keeler (bass) formed Death From Above 1979 in 2001 — 25 years together. On booking a tour before the record existed, the band said: "When we booked our fall 2026 tour, we wanted it to be an album tour, yet we hadn't stepped foot in a studio." — Keeler and Grainger.
Ticket Refunds and Transfers
Fans holding tickets to the original dates have a 30-day refund window through October 22, 2026 via the original point of purchase. According to reports, tickets transfer automatically to the rescheduled dates once the window closes, and cancelled shows will be refunded.
