Stella Lefty will become the first country artist to play Capital's Jingle Bell Ball since Taylor Swift, after being announced for night two of the 2026 festival on Sunday, December 6, at the O2 Arena in London.
The announcement, reported by Holler Country on November 5, 2026, puts Lefty in rare company. Swift last performed at the Jingle Bell Ball in 2014, and aside from Swift, Lefty is the only artist associated with country music on this year's bill.
What the milestone means
Lefty's booking marks the return of a country artist to the Jingle Bell Ball stage for the first time in 12 years. Since Swift's appearance in 2014, the festival's line-ups have been dominated by pop, dance and R&B acts, making Lefty's inclusion a notable moment for country music in the UK.
It is also a measure of how quickly her profile has grown in 2026. For readers who want more background, the Stella Lefty biography traces her rise, her songs and her career so far.

Why 'Boston' made this happen
Lefty's breakthrough came with "Boston", her breakout single released in spring 2026 via Atlantic Records. The song peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent 30 weeks on the chart, and it earned her first No. 1 at country radio in the week of September 20, 2026.
The song was written by Lefty, Grace Enger, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Joe Reeves and Noah Kahan. Fans can also read the Boston lyrics (Stella Lefty) on LatestLyrics.xyz, and the Noah Kahan biography for more on one of its co-writers.
