SCH BIOGRAPHY - AGE, CAREER, SONGS & FACTS

SCH is one of the most distinctive voices in French rap. Born Julien Schwarzer, the Marseille rapper has spent more than a decade building one of the most consistent catalogues in the genre, from his 2015 mixtape A7 to the chart-topping JVLIVS trilogy.

His latest chapter is the "Précipices" double single, a new entry at No. 21 on the French SNEP chart in semaine 44 (early November 2026) — proof that more than ten years in, SCH still moves the needle. This is the story of his age, career, biggest songs and the facts that define him.

Early Life

Julien Schwarzer was born on 6 April 1993 in Marseille (Saint-Barnabé), France. His father is German and worked as a truck driver, while his mother is French and a nurse. At the age of 10, the family moved to Aubagne, just east of Marseille.

Schwarzer started writing lyrics at 13 and began rapping at 15. In his teens he maintained a presence on Skyblog under the name "Schneider" before adopting the SCH moniker in 2014, the name he has performed under ever since.

Career

SCH's breakthrough came in 2015 when he appeared on Lacrim's mixtape R.I.P.R.O. Volume 1, a co-sign that introduced him to a national audience. He followed it with his debut mixtape A7, released on 13 November 2015, which established his dark, cinematic sound.

His debut studio album Anarchie arrived on 27 May 2016 and went 3x Platinum in France. He then released Deo Favente (2017), JVLIVS (2018), Rooftop (2019), JVLIVS II (2021) and Autobahn (2022), before closing his flagship trilogy with JVLIVS III: Ad finem on 6 December 2024 — an album that debuted at No. 1 in France and was certified Platinum.

Beyond his solo work, SCH is part of the "Bande Organisée" Marseille collective and has served as a coach on Netflix's Nouvelle École. His single "Fusil" has passed 100 million views on YouTube, and his current "Précipices" double single entered the FR SNEP chart at No. 21 — dive into the PRÉCIPICES lyrics by SCH for the full breakdown.

His rise mirrors the broader French rap wave covered across LatestLyrics, from the Aya Nakamura biography to rising new-school names like Mauvais Djo — check the PILÉ lyrics by Mauvais Djo and the MALADIE lyrics by Mauvais Djo for more.

Personal Life

SCH is famously discreet about his private life and, according to reports, rarely discusses personal matters in interviews. He keeps the focus on his music, maintaining a low media profile even as he headlines some of France's biggest stages.
