About "COSITA"
LA POSTAL is Daddy Yankee's 13th studio album — 15 tracks running about 44 minutes, released through his own DY Records. "COSITA" sits at track 4 and has quickly become one of the album's most talked-about moments.
Cardi B sings in Spanish alongside Daddy Yankee, leaning into the bachata groove for a bilingual crossover that plays to both artists' strengths.
The album is a concept album built as a set of love letters — "La Postal" translates to "The Postcard" (per Nevarez PR). The lead single "BOTZ (Bésame Otra Vez)" arrived October 9, and the guest list spans Myke Towers, Danny Ocean, Diljit Dosanjh (on "POKITO"), Bizarrap and De La Rose.
Early reception has been warm: an AP review scored the album 3.5/5 and named "Cosita" as its "On repeat" pick. And the timing is big — Daddy Yankee will be honored as Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year on November 12, the night before the Latin Grammys in Las Vegas.
