"That's Why I Love You" by Victoria Monét featuring Bruno Mars is the standout duet from her sophomore album Frequency of Love (October 2, 2026). Produced by Camper and D'Mile, the track opens with an Italian interpolation of Bruno Lauzi's 1963 ballad "Ritornerai" before blooming into a devotional love song about forever.

That's Why I Love You Lyrics
[Intro]
Ritornerai
Lo so, ritornerei
E quando tu sarai con me
E scoprirai che nulla è cambiato
Che sono restato
L'illuso di sempre
[Verse 1: Victoria Monét]
You drive me crazy
Best chauffeur in the world
But not much can shake me
You know I'm a California girl
And you'll always be my baby
'Til the day that we're six feet down with me
I know you would bust that 'round for me
When my love's been on safety
Now that I've found you in the world
[Chorus: Victoria Monét]
And I'll be loving you, you, you
Just you, you, you
'Til the venues are closed and all the lights come on
No one here but us two
Still tell you 'til I'm blue, blue, blue
It's true
'Til we're silver and old, you'd never let me dance alone
And baby, that's why I love you
[Verse 2: Bruno Mars]
The star of our movie
You sure know how to make a scene
Get lost in your beauty
Left and right, up and down, and in between, uh
Forever my lady (Ooh, forever my lady)
But you'll always be with me (Always be with me)
Should nobody wake me (Nobody wake me)
If I'm drifting into that knee dream
[Chorus: Victoria Monét & Bruno Mars]
I'll be loving you, you, you
Just you, you, you
'Til the venues are closed and all the lights come on
No one here but us two
Still tell you 'til I'm blue, blue, blue
It's true
'Til we're silver and old, you'd never let me dance alone
And baby, that's why I love you
[Bridge: Bruno Mars]
Love, love
Love, love, love, love
Love, love, love, love
Love, love, love, love
[Chorus: Victoria Monét, Bruno Mars, Both]
I'll be loving you, you, you
Just you, you, you
'Til the venues are closed and all the lights come on
No one here but us two
Still tell you 'til I'm blue, blue, blue
It's true
'Til we're silver and old, you'd never let me dance alone
And baby, that's why I love you
