Sonu Nigam was born into a musical family as the son of singer Agam Kumar Nigam and Shobha Nigam. He began singing at the age of four, performing alongside his father, and later received training in Hindustani classical music under Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan. In his late teens, he moved to Mumbai to chase his dream of becoming a playback singer.

Career
