Sandra Annette Bullock was born on July 26, 1964, in Arlington, Virginia, to Helga Meyer, a German opera singer, and John Wilson Bullock, an American voice coach. She spent much of her childhood in Nuremberg, West Germany, where she grew up surrounded by the performing arts and even appeared in her mother's opera productions.
