Few pop stars have arrived quite like PinkPantheress. She turned dorm-room GarageBand beats into the most influential DIY pop story of the decade — short songs, long impact, from TikTok anonymity to Brit Award history.

Early Life
PinkPantheress was born Victoria Beverley Walker on 19 April 2001 in Bath, Somerset, England, and raised in Kent. Long before the fame, she was a music-obsessed kid with an ear for the sounds of 1990s and 2000s club culture. She taught herself the basics of music production and began shaping the short, sample-driven style that would later become her signature.
Career
Her breakthrough came in 2021, while she was studying at university in London. She started posting self-produced tracks on SoundCloud and TikTok, and songs such as "Break It Off" spread rapidly online. Major labels took notice, and she signed with Parlophone and Elektra Records. Her debut mixtape, To Hell with It, arrived in late 2021.
The singles "Just for Me" and "Pain" both reached the UK top 40, and "Boy's a Liar" climbed to No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart. Its remix, "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2" with Ice Spice, peaked at No. 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100, giving her a major American breakthrough.
Her debut studio album, Heaven Knows (2023), charted in ten countries. Her sound — a bright blend of drum and bass, UK garage, house and alternative pop, frequently sampling 1990s and 2000s music — became instantly recognisable.
The second mixtape, Fancy That (2025), debuted at No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart, powered by the singles "Tonight", "Stateside" and "Illegal". Along the way she picked up landmark honours: the first woman and the youngest artist ever to win the Brit Award for British Producer of the Year (2026), Producer of the Year at the Billboard Women in Music awards (2024), and two Grammy nominations around the Fancy That era.
Recent News
In October 2025, PinkPantheress announced Fancy Some More?, a remix companion to Fancy That featuring 22 remixes alongside the full original tracklist, with guest appearances from Zara Larsson, Kylie Minogue, Anitta, SEVENTEEN and Basement Jaxx. The standout "Stateside + Zara Larsson" remix — released with a Charlotte Rutherford-directed video on 15 January 2026 — became her second US top-ten hit and her first No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200. Physical editions of the remix album followed in February 2026, and she made her Coachella debut in April 2026.
