Shahid Kapoor stars as Ustara, a gangster inspired by the real-life figure Hussain Ustara, while Triptii Dimri plays Afsha, the woman who becomes the centre of his world. Nana Patekar appears as a police officer, Farida Jalal as a grandmother and Avinash Tiwary as the villain, with Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani and a special appearance by Vikrant Massey completing the ensemble.

The story is drawn from Hussain Zaidi's Mafia Queens of Mumbai, with the screenplay written by Vishal Bhardwaj and Rohan Narula. Set against Mumbai's underworld, the film traces Ustara's rise and the romance that threatens everything he has built — a Valentine's weekend release framed around love, loyalty and violence.
