The Artists Behind the Music
The songs on the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack were written and produced by Teddy Park, 24, Danny Chung, Ido, Vince, Kush and Dominsuk of TheBlackLabel, the powerhouse K-pop production house behind some of the genre's biggest hits. The film's original score was composed by Marcelo Zarvos, whose music underpins the film's emotional and action-heavy moments. Chart Records & Awards
"Golden" by HUNTR/X reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and held the top spot for 8 consecutive weeks — the first female K-pop song ever to top the Hot 100, and the longest 21st-century #1 reign by a female group.
The film became the FIRST film soundtrack in history with four songs in the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 at the same time: "Golden" at #1, "Your Idol" at #4, "Soda Pop" at #5 and "How It's Done" at #10.
The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack album reached #1 on the Billboard 200 in the chart weeks of September 20 and October 11, 2025.
RIAA certifications: "Golden" is certified Double Platinum in the US, while "How It's Done", "Soda Pop", "Your Idol" and "What It Sounds Like" are all certified Platinum. The album itself went double platinum in the US in October 2025.
"Golden" won Best Original Song at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards and at the 98th Academy Awards, with the film winning Best Animated Feature at both ceremonies. The song also won the Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media on February 1, 2026. A sequel has been confirmed and is in development.
