Originals and Covers

The EP's three originals are "All You Want for Christmas Is Me", "I Want (A Few Small Things)" and "I Guess It's Christmas". The opener playfully nods to Mariah Carey's seasonal classic — read the 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' lyrics by Mariah Carey or explore our Mariah Carey biography.

The two covers are "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", the Judy Garland classic, and "Last Christmas (Mine)", a new version of the Wham!/George Michael favorite that Duff first recorded for Santa Claus Lane. Revisiting it 24 years later brings the song full circle.

Duff's Comeback Year

Holiday Things caps a landmark comeback year for Duff. Her sixth studio album, luck… or something, arrived in February 2026 — her first album in 11 years — and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. She followed it with the (Mine) re-record EP and the "CATastrophe" single on October 2 from The Cat in the Hat, while extending her Lucky Me tour through November 2027 — read more in Hilary Duff extends Lucky Me tour through 2027.
