Breaking news for hip-hop and rock fans: Eminem and Kid Rock are reuniting on "7 Sins" — a collaboration few saw coming, given the two stars' opposite political views. The track features on Kid Rock's first faith-based album
, "Halfway 2 Jesus", which arrives on October 17, 2026.
The Collaboration
"Halfway 2 Jesus" (also styled "Halfway To Jesus") is Kid Rock's first Christian album, set for release on October 17, 2026 via Top Dog Records. The 17-track project blends rap-rock and country with themes of faith — and its third track, "7 Sins", features a guest verse from Eminem. With the album still unreleased, "7 Sins" has no music video yet; the official video embedded below is the album's lead single.
What Kid Rock Said
In the album's foreword, reported by Complex, Kid Rock spoke warmly about the reunion: "I'm proud of the guests who joined me, especially my old friend Eminem. His verse speaks to something we've talked about and that really needs to be heard: we differ politically and on other things, but we've stayed friends through it all. We hope that sets an example for people who've lost friends or stopped talking to family because they think differently."
Their History Together
The two Michigan stars go way back. Eminem and Kid Rock first worked together on "Fuck Off" from Kid Rock's breakthrough 1998 album "Devil Without A Cause". Years later, Kid Rock made a cameo in the video for Eminem's 2013 single "Berzerk". Now, nearly three decades after their first link-up, "7 Sins" marks their most high-profile collaboration yet.
