Charli xcx turned the Kia Forum into a pop summit on Saturday, October 17, 2026, when surprise guest Chappell Roan joined her for a duet of Boom Clap, the 2014 breakthrough single she had not played live in years. Stopping her Music, Fashion, Film Tour at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles — the first of two LA shows — Charli told the crowd, "Every night on tour, I play an old song. I asked a friend of mine if she would come and sing an old song of mine with me," before bringing Roan out to thunderous cheers (per Variety's coverage).
The night kept the surprises coming. PinkPantheress appeared to perform her own song "Stateside," and The Dare joined Charli for an extended version of the "Guess" remix — with cannons firing pairs of underwear into the crowd. The show capped a big October run that also included an Austin City Limits weekend with Tinashe. With a second Kia Forum show set for October 18 and the North American leg wrapping in Las Vegas on October 23, Charli then heads to the UK and Europe in 2027 with Audrey Hobert opening.
What Happened At The Kia Forum
Date: Saturday, October 17, 2026
Venue: Kia Forum, Inglewood, Los Angeles (first of two LA shows; the second is on October 18)
Tour: Music, Fashion, Film Tour

Why The Boom Clap Duet Matters
Charli xcx rarely revisits her older catalog, so a live Boom Clap — her 2014 breakout single — is an event on its own. Per setlist.fm data cited in press coverage, the Kia Forum performance was the first time she had played it live since 2023. Charli framed it as a gift for her guest: "Every night on tour, I play an old song. I asked a friend of mine if she would come and sing an old song of mine with me, and they said, 'The only way I'm doing it is if it's this song,' so you have her to thank." What's Next For The Tour
The Music, Fashion, Film Tour plays its second Kia Forum show on October 18, moves to Glendale on October 21, then wraps the North American leg at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on October 23 — a run that began on September 11 in Philadelphia. Charli then takes a break before the 2027 UK and European leg, with Audrey Hobert opening dates in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Amsterdam and Paris. The tour supports her album Music, Fashion, Film, which dropped on July 24, 2026, with the singles "Rock Music" and "SS26."
