Tour Record: What We Know
Billboard Boxscore reported the $500 million milestone on Sept. 30, with coverage continuing through Oct. 1-2, 2026. With the total, BTS became the first pop act - and the first pop group - ever to gross more than half a billion dollars on a single tour. Only six acts before them have crossed the mark, all of them rock: Coldplay, U2, the Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC and the Hella Mega Tour. Billboard now projects the Arirang World Tour could approach $1 billion, with around 40 shows still remaining on the itinerary.
The August Boxscore Run
The milestone was powered by a historic August run: $171.7 million from roughly 800,000 concertgoers across 12 North American stadium shows. That put BTS at No. 1 on Billboard's monthly Top Tours chart for the fifth time. It is also the second-biggest monthly gross in Boxscore history, trailing only Beyonce's $179.3 million from August 2023. The two shows at MetLife Stadium alone drew 158,000 tickets worth $32.7 million.
The Tour So Far
The Arirang World Tour began on April 9, 2026, in Goyang, South Korea, in support of the album Arirang, released March 20, 2026, whose lead single "SWIM" both debuted at No. 1. The North American leg drew 1.92 million concertgoers across 31 sold-out shows, and the run concludes in December 2026 with Singapore hosting the final "The City Arirang" concerts. The seven members - RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook - have carried the record-breaking run from Seoul to Singapore.
