The Story
Better Over Time is BigXthaPlug's first rap-focused project since 2024's platinum Take Care (Billboard 200 No. 8). It follows the country-leaning detour I Hope You're Happy (August 2025, Billboard 200 No. 7). The arc began with his debut album Amar (February 2023), and his 2026 mixtape 6WA launched his own 600 Entertainment company, which is releasing this record alongside UnitedMasters.
The deep-voiced, percussive-flow Dallas rapper — a 2023 breakout turned multi-platinum hitmaker — led the rollout with "LITE" (with Belly Gang Kushington), whose video he co-directed with Jerry Morka. "GIVE IT ALL" was heavily teased pre-release, and "I LIKE IT" (feat. Loe Shimmy) arrived with its official music video on release day. Closer "ONE" samples Three Dog Night.
