Mercury Studios has announced that Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath's farewell concert film, "Ozzy Osbourne & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning," is set for a home release on December 11, 2026. The news, confirmed on October 28, 2026, arrives as the film begins a limited worldwide cinema run, and pre-orders for the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, CD, 2LP vinyl and digital editions are already open.

The Farewell Concert
The film captures the historic July 5, 2025 concert at Villa Park in Birmingham — Ozzy Osbourne's final live performance. The night saw the original Black Sabbath lineup — Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward — reunited on stage for the first time in over 20 years, just weeks before Ozzy's death on July 22, 2025.
The all-day event was hosted by Jason Momoa, with Tom Morello as musical director and Ben Wainwright-Pearce handling screen direction. The guest list read like a heavy metal hall of fame: Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Tool, Slayer and Pantera all took part, while tributes poured in from Dolly Parton, Ricky Gervais and AC/DC. The Blu-ray runs around three and a half hours and packs in the full Ozzy and Sabbath sets alongside the guest appearances.
