ANGINE DE POITRINE ANNOUNCE MASSIVE 2027 WORLD TOUR — FOUR CONTINENTS, MARCH TO JULY

The masked Quebec duo Angine de Poitrine have announced a massive 2027 world tour, unveiling the itinerary on October 21, 2026. The run stretches from March 4 in Melbourne to July 30 in Chicoutimi, Quebec, crossing four continents — the biggest tour the band has ever attempted.

The announcement caps a genuine breakout year for the pair — Khn de Poitrine on microtonal guitar and Klek de Poitrine on drums, who perform in elongated papier-mache masks and polka-dot costumes — following a historic Polaris double win and their US television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

A Breakout Year

September 2026 was the month everything changed for the duo. On a single night, Angine de Poitrine won both the $30,000 Polaris Album Prize for their second album Vol. II and the $10,000 SOCAN Polaris Song Prize for Fabienk — the first act ever to take home both honours at the same ceremony.

Released in April 2026, Vol. II cemented their reputation as one of the most original guitar bands on the planet. In September 2026 they made their US television debut, performing the brand-new song Zugzegk on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, alongside an appearance on Later with Jools Holland.

Their 2026 tour is still underway through December, with stops including Brooklyn Steel in New York, the Salt Shed in Chicago and a West Coast run — and the newly announced 2027 dates extend that momentum into a full world tour.
