About the Song
The official video for "Already Falling" premiered on October 28, 2026. It stars Davido's wife Chioma and closes with a striking lakeside scene at dusk, where Davido drops to one knee and presents a ring — a cinematic recreation of their proposal, not a new engagement; the couple married in 2024.
Meji Alabi directed the visual, which was filmed at Château de Chanteloup in Cognac, France — the Martell estate. Musically, the track reimagines Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love" through an Afrobeats lens, with background vocals from Peruzzi.
"Already Falling" is the eighth track on Davido's sixth studio album, "Oriadé", released July 31, 2026. The song has inspired 72,000+ TikTok creations with 88 million views, and has reached No. 9 on the Official UK Afrobeats Songs Chart.
