A Man from the Future is the new studio album by Pet Shop Boys, arriving on October 9, 2026 via Parlophone Records. The eight-part work is a musical biography of Alan Turing, the computer pioneer and codebreaker, written by Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe as a musical memorial to his life and legacy. The album was written by Tennant and Lowe with Turing biographer Prof. Andrew Hodges, with string and vocal arrangements by Sven Helbig, and recorded in the UK and Germany over the past year. It was originally performed at the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in July 2014, and has been revised and rearranged for this recording with a more electronic emphasis, according to NME. The Blu-ray edition also carries instrumental and no-narration versions in Dolby Atmos. A listening event is set for the Imperial War Museum North in Manchester on October 8. The duo describe the project as "make a musical memorial to Alan Turing…", per Attitude. Their previous album, Nonetheless (2024), reached No. 2 in the UK, their 19th Top 10 album.
