Salomón Villada Hoyos, known as Feid (or Ferxxo), born 19 August 1992 in Medellín, is the Colombian reggaeton singer-songwriter-producer behind hits like "Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo" and "Classy 101".
Early Life
Salomón Villada Hoyos was born on 19 August 1992 in Medellín, Colombia. His mother, Berta Lucía Hoyos, worked as a preschool teacher and psychologist, while his father, Jorge Mario Villada, was a university Arts professor. Before stepping into the spotlight himself, Feid built his reputation behind the scenes as a songwriter, penning tracks for J Balvin (including the smash "Ginza"), Nicky Jam, Sebastián Yatra and Maluma. Like fellow Medellín star Karol G — see the Karol G biography — he came up through Colombia's vibrant urban music scene.
Career
Feid launched his solo career with the debut album Así Como Suena (2015). His breakthrough run began with 19 (2019) and Ferxxo (Vol. 1: M.O.R.) (2020), followed by Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo Te Pirateamos el Álbum (2022), home to "Normal" and "Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo". MOR, No Le Temas a La Oscuridad (2023) cracked the Top 10, and Ferxxo Vol X: Sagrado (2025) earned a Grammy nomination. In 2026 he released El Green Print: La Saga (Disc 1) — Feid vs Ferxxo. His biggest hits include "Classy 101" with Young Miko (2023), "Bubalu" with Rema (2023), "Luna" with ATL Jacob (2024), "Sorry 4 That Much" — his first solo Billboard Hot Latin Songs Top 10 (2024) — and "Que Vuelta Vox" (2026). Feid has notched 7 Billboard Hot 100 entries and 25 Billboard Global 200 entries, and ranked among Spotify's Top 10 most-streamed artists globally two years running.
Collaborations & 2026
Feid has collaborated with Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Karol G, Maluma, Rema, Young Miko and Yandel — and crossed into pop history with Madonna on "Read My Lips" from Confessions II (2026), followed by a FIFA World Cup version in June 2026. In 2026 he also launched his own label, Grabaciones Los Poderosos (March 2026, distributed by Universal Music Latin), premiered the El Green Print cinematic short film at a Regal one-night event on 13 September 2026, and brought the Feid vs Ferxxo tour to Australia in July 2026.
